Mantality Health teams up Make-A-Wish MO for WOD 4 Wishes

Local charity WOD 4 Wishes holds an annual event that presents all of their proceeds to Make-A-Wish Missouri. Of course, Mantality Health heard about the event and without question wanted to join forces. As the title sponsor for the event, the direct goal is to raise money to grant wishes for kids in the Make-A-Wish program all here locally.

The event was held Saturday August, 11 2018 with gyms across the state of Missouri:

  • Crossfit St. Louis
  • Crossfit Chesterfield
  • Crossfit North County
  • Crossfit Gambit
  • Premium Crossfit
  • Crossfit St. Charles
  • Crossfit Wildwood
  • CrossFit Cerberus (KC)
  • Cobra Command CrossFit (KC)
  • 816 CrossFit (KC)
  • Do Work Crossfit (KC)

WOD 4 Wishes Founder and Organizer, Joe Sanfilippo, said, “A few years ago, I was very blessed to have had the opportunity in meeting a very special young boy and help make his Wish come true. That experience was truly a game-changer for me just as a wish is a game-changer for these kids.We started this event to help grant the wishes of children battling critical illnesses and are asking for your support. On average, the total cost of a wish is $10,000 and 80¢ of every dollar raised goes towards granting those wishes! That is why we need your help to grant the one true wish of local children battling critical illnesses. All of the money raised through WOD 4 Wishes will help support wishes of kids right here in our local communities.”

This is the second year that Mantality Health has participated as title sponsor with many of the Mantality Health employees taking part in the WOD (Workout of the Day). The workout is called “Death by Burpees” where the premise is to do the number of burpees for the minute you’re in. For example, one burpee on minute one, two burpees on minute two, three burpees on minute three and so on.

Mantality Health couldn’t be more proud to be part of an organization that is doing great things right here in the local area to help make sure that kids get their ultimate wish granted.
